IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet (PoE) The DES-1008P features four 10/100BASE-TX ports that support the IEEE 802.3af PoE protocol. Each of the these PoE ports can supply up to 15.4 W for a total PoE budget of 56 W, allowing users to attach an IEEE 802.3af-compliant device to the DES-1008P without requiring additional power.
